Banging Chicks and Killing Terrorists

Going to write here since this place is active again! :D

I went and saw Avatar with Kaylie and Weegar. It was so-so. I mean, the visuals are quite good (oh, no, I didn't say amazing?) but the story has been done a million times over. It's not a new idea in any sense. And I didn't feel for any of the characters. Like someone dies and I didn't even tear up or anything. XD And I've cried at some pretty sappy things. Oh, well, it was still interesting to see.

Kaylie left for Japan! I was a little sad I didn't get to see her closer to when she left but oh well. She's been writing on her blog and I've been reading it. (I check it pretty regularly. XD) It's good to read and see how she's doing and what she's up to over there. Everything seems to be going pretty well so I'm happy for her~ :D

I got an application for the Akron Zoo from Amber and I filled it out and she took it in for me. She said she'll be sure to get me an interview so I'm excited. Though I don't think it'll be until sometime in February. And not potentially starting until March.

I'm having a little birthday dinner next Saturday. XD I asked Kaylie a while ago if she wanted to come and she laughed. >D I forgot she'd be in Japan! I wish she was here for it but I'm glad I got to go out for her birthday and I'm just copying her idea of going to Wasabi anyway. XD Oh, well, Weegar will be there and that'll make me happy. Julie and Amber said they'd come too. Stacey is a maybe. I'm going out with my family on the Friday before. We're going to Don Pablo's (my second favorite place to eat).

Julie's playing with the idea of taking a quick one day trip to Ohayocon I guess? She asked if I'd come with her and I said yes. I asked her if she was still coming to the birthday dinner and then she became unsure about Ohayocon. So I dunno. Doesn't matter to me anyway, no one there I really know besides Weegar, who I'd stop by and say hi to. But I'd like to go just to see some cosplay (it's been a while, since June).

I'm gonna go read more of this awesome Iron Man Weegar brought me so later~!

A New Year, A New Beginning

I cleaned out all my old journal entries because nothing in them was really worth remembering. >D As horrible as that sounds. I remember the important stuff anyway. Mainly restarting because I might start using this again and I really wanna read Kaylie's Japan blog so no use looking at old stupid journal entries. She leaves on Saturday. ;_; Going to see Avatar with her and Weegar tomorrow. We must get in some last hurrahs.
